Every ATA Black Belt Academy Instructor undertakes years of rigorous training before earning the title of “Certified Instructor”. The Instructors Program not only includes intense physical training, but extensive training in teaching skills and curriculum development. One can tell the level of the instructor’s certification by the collar worn.
Levels of Certification Red/White/Blue Collar - Jr. Leader Program Solid Red Collar - Leadership Program Red/Black Collar - Certified Trainee Instructor ( minimum of 100 teaching/training hours) Black/Red/Black - Specialty Trainer ( over 200 teaching/training hours and practical experience) Solid Black Collar - Certified Instructor
